Configuring Yahoo! Mail in Microsoft Outlook

Let's start with a strach knowledge. You've opened your Yahoo! Mail in Internet Explorer right? (Or any other browser). So it's time to get a permanent that will notify you when new e-mail arrived in your inbox.

First step, install Microsoft Outlook. Once you've finished, come to this webpage and download latest YPOPs!.

Basicly, this software(please don't scare, it's not any malware or virus, just scan the installation files before use for precaution) helps you to configure your Yahoo! Mail into any POP3 email client such as Outlook.

Now open up your YPOPs first and let it run on default and then open your Outlook afterward. You'll be brought to a setup wizard. Now follow the instruction carefully.

Select POP3,
Your Name : It will show as a display name on your Outlook.
E-mail Address : Enter your e-mail address in full form(including the @yahoo.com)

For Incoming and Outgoing mail server, key in localhost

Key in your password(Username will be keyed in automatically). Click on More Settings. Go to the Outgoing Server tab and tick the first option(the most upper ones)

Click Ok, then next and finish.

Now you're good to go and access your Yahoo! mail from Outlook.
